Peninsula House
A north-facing new build that opens fully to the garden and pool, with a restrained material palette and generous cross-flow ventilation.
A calm, north-facing family home
Peninsula House replaces a tired post-war cottage with a light-filled dwelling arranged around a central courtyard. Living spaces step down to follow the site, so the kitchen, dining and garden read as a single connected room.
The brief was simple: a low-maintenance home that feels open in summer and snug in winter. Deep eaves and cross-ventilation do most of the work, keeping the house comfortable without relying on mechanical cooling.
