Fairlight House
A first-floor addition and rear extension that opens a dark 1950s cottage to the northern light, with a warm timber and off-white palette throughout.
Reworking a tired cottage for a growing family
Fairlight House keeps the street-facing character of the original cottage while adding a light-filled first floor and a reworked rear that connects living spaces to the garden. New highlight windows pull northern light deep into the plan.
Timber lining and a restrained off-white palette warm the interior, and a new stair becomes the sculptural centre of the home.
